Relocation Kit & Aftermarket head unit.

I am looking at relocating my stock radio to the bottom cubby. Now I am thinking of Purchasing an Alphine iDA-X303 to do it all in one shot. I wanted to know do all din 1 aftermarket head units fit in the lower cubby? Dont want to relocate the radio section only to find out that I cant place it there. Anyone installed an Alpine unit in the lower cubby?

You will need this kit. ( http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...?productid=160 )It is very easy to install and only takes a few min. The bottom cubby that you have in your car now will not fit your headunit unless you want to cut it up.

What he said. A couple people I know with Evos have gotten it and it works like a charm.

Sounds like you have a good plan. Radio install in the lower cubby is the same as the upper just gotta do a little finagling with the wiring harness but its no big deal.
