2005 evo left side short?

2005 evo left side short?
i have a short problum. the left side marker lights keep shorting out and blowing fueses. i have disconnected the rear lights and replaced all baulbs. i dont know what eles it could be and just wondering if anyone has had this problum? also what is a good guage set? thanks
