Hey guys, i posted this in general but realised its probably better in this forum.
so I was sold a ballast but the seller didnt tell me the wire had been cut and now I need the d2s connector for the bulb , will any ebay d2s connector be able to replace it?

Something like this? I know the connecting end to the ballast is wrong but was thinking of chopping the head and using whats left of the existing wiring on the ballast I got.

As long as it connects to the bulb ok, it should work.
But be careful - the wiring between the bulb and ballast is high voltage, and not something you can just extend with some cheapo walmart wiring and a couple crimp connectors. The wiring doesn't need to carry a lot of current (thin gauge wire), but needs very good insulation...since yours is probably cut you'll probably see that yours is the wire inside a separate sleeve.

Solder and a bunch of heat shrink is probably your best option.

Sounds like you got hosed though. Bummer.

 

Ok, Ive got a sleeve feom my busted up headlights still intact and I will use that to cover them up , I been searching for weeks and finally got an answer ! Thanks heaps!
