so ive been reading on this for a while but cant find an answer for my problem. ive followed the keyless entry remote programming instructions. jumper wire from pin 1 to 4, hit flashers 6 times, doors lock and unlock, then hit lock on remote 3 times, it locks then unlocks to indicate that its programmed. then when i remove the jumper wire and get out of the car and hit the lock button, nothing happens. keyless didnt work when i bought the car, so i changed the battery in the remote and tried reprogramming and it still wont stay programmed.

All of my interior equipment works such as radio, clock, dome light. so i dont think its the etacs. ive checked fuses. how ever under the hood in the slim relay box next to the fuse box there is a slot that doesnt have a relay thats a picture of a car with a key inside of it. would that be a keyless entry relay?

if anyone has insight on this, id appreciate an answer.

Did you ever figure this out? My keyless entry remote won't work either. I replaced it's battery as well. I can't figure it out. 🤦‍♂️
