Starting issue

I'm having a starting issue with my evo 9. For some reason, typically in hot days, I would have to flick the ignition key several times to get it to crank. I've changed the battery, battery terminals, starter, ignition switch, alternator, clutch switch, starter relay AND I still have the issue. My best guess at this point is the wiring is getting old and with the heat causing it's getting resistance so it doesn't get the correct voltage. Has anyone experienced this? If so did you replace with new wiring and relay? Thanks

Nope, as stated before I changed that and it's hooked up right. I managed to fix it. I was correct about the voltage and age of the wiring. Installed an inline relay and worked perfectly.

uhhh - the fix listed in that thread is to install an in-line relay to boost voltage to the starter relay.

Glad you got it fixed.
