I haven't used that specific brand but it could end up costing more in the end. You need to apply it at least as thick as a piece of of dynomat to obtain the same characteristics. A thinner layer will dampen the metal but think of it like insulation, thicker = less noise, thinner= more noise. If it's too thin, you'll need to add more coats which in my experience didnt fix the problem at all. I needed 3 gallons on a 2g eclipse and in the end I wire brushed it all out. Dynomat's rubber like properties help a great deal.
