03 - Windows aren't working
Hey All,
I was messing around in the 03 that I'm rebuilding. The interior is in excellent condition and complete. I have a battery hooked up temporarily. Stereo works. All lights and gauges are working. Door locks work. But, I can't seem to get any of the windows to move down. This includes ALL window switches. I have checked the window lock button. I've tried all switches with it in either position. I've checked the fuse under the hood. I searched a bit but didn't seem to have any luck. Anything obvious I should check? |
Check all fuses. Make sure that everything is plugged in?

The 30A (I think) under the hood is fine. I haven't pulled it out to make sure, but I'll take a continuity tester home and check tonight.
What would be unplugged? All 4 window switches? That'd seem random. Just to add, there is no motor in the engine bay. The battery harness under the hood isn't in the best of shape. There's also an alarm on the car. I'm a bit iffy about it. I'm considering trying to excise it.

FYI, after I removed the aftermarket alarm, windows started working.
