HKS turbo timer won't work
I have an HKS Type-0 turbo timer installed on my Eclipse using a harness adapter which clipped up perfectly. It's properly grounded, the timer turns on and allows me to select any option, view voltage, etc., but when I turn the key off, the engine shuts down immediately. I didn't touch the handbrake wire (it's an automatic, hence I don't use the handbrake when parked) but I'm reading that it's meant to be used as a cautionary feature only. Should I connect that in order to make it work? Or perhaps an unswitched power source? Let me know if you have any idea what's causing this..
