Head unit doesn't find channels to play music
 

I bought a new head unit and speakers. I hooked up the power antenna wire to the auto antenna wire. The head unit doesn't find channels to play music. It just keeps scrolling like it's looking but nothing happens. Need help on how to fix. Any advice is appritiated

I believe there is also another wire behind the dash, a single molex looking plastic connector. That should plug in somewhere to a harness behind the radio. That and the circle antenna to the radio should be everything.
Unless the radio needs programmed, or is from a different country..
