IV ECU work in a VIIII

Need a little help here. Will the ECU out of the IX's work OK in the VIII's. Also are the MAF's the same? Thanks again for all the help, this is one great Forum.{thumbup} I just noticed I screwed up the heading I am wondering if a 9 will work in a 8?

UPDATE- I found out that a 9 computer will not work in an 8. Thanks again to everyone who PM'd and helped me.
