Need some help! Want about 350hp to the wheels.
I know you guys are gonna attack me and what not saying that i didnt search. But it did and i have some info but not alot. So i was thinking of getting cams (272 - 272) exuahst i dont know wich. WAter injection for more boost with california crap 91 octane. Boost controler for top end. Intake, some type of flash/piggyback or standalone (dont know which is best). And of course a tune. Well i dont know how much Hp all of this will add but i think that its a good start. I am also curios if with this hp i can be smog legal in cali? Any help will be good and dont post just to be an *** plz. I need some legitimate help for i feal this is a legitiamte question. and any brands or specific items that i should get plz add for exaple like what exuahst i should get
uhm... what you want is:
intake pick carefully so you don't get stalling problems and if you do get stalling problems get hks eids or richen up the bottom end with apexi safc
full 3" catback exhaust (most likely without cat) suggestions include greddy ti with custom dp with 02 elim and cat delete wtih cat shells. you can also get a ready made system from buschur or rnr.
cams, the most popular breed is hks, piper also makes cams that are torquier but hks will give you the top end for that number you want. cam gears also to dial out a lil more power.
apexi safc with a good tune. parital and full throttle tunes. you might want to get an egt or afr gauge for the tuning part.
mbc (they never fail whereas solenoid actuated electronic boost controlers do.), you may also need a flash to get rid of the boost taper.
you need a good set of injectors, the size is really up to you no less than 660, but if you want 720 or 1000 that only gives you more headroom.
and you'll need a fuel pump, the 255lph breed from walbro fits right in the stock locale.
btw... you didn't do your research, this info is pretty readily available prolly even if you searched 350hp.
people with less of a setup than this have been heard to make 400 to the wheels on race gas... that's c16. on pump... you can count on a number that is near 350 and you still have lots of headroom for more supporting mods to push you over that number.

To pass smog in CALI is a tall order for 350whp. Any body can make 350 but passing smog you need to revert back to stock to pass visual inspection unless you have approved CARB #'s on all your aftermarket parts.
Then you have to pass the sniffer test. So 272's and no cat would be a problem.

note... you don't have to pass smog for 4 years, meanwhile... don't get pulled over.
i'm one to speak, i get pulled over all day long... but yeah... if they ask why yer **** is so loud, say it is under 95 decibals. if they give you a fix it, then fix it... if they say they smell your fuel from running catless... tell them you're running a full tank of 110 octane race gas. if they tell you to pop the hood then you have to and hope that he doesn't recognize too much stuff. cuz otherwise you gotta swap back to stock and then get reffed.

After driving serveral of these that will give a "big turbo" evo a run, here you go if you are trying for 350-400 on race gas:
turboback- pick your poison
walbro
720 denso injectors
safcII
cams- piper or hks
dijon tool mbc- works and is cheap
approximately 2k and you can knock on 400whp if it is tuned right for race gas
swap "maps" for race gas and add a v band to you cat and a test pipe for the high octane and easy swaps.
good luck
