How do you tighten Weapon R Engine Torque Dampener??

Seems to help in the engine slop quite a bit, works nice but wont work with stock strut bar if you have JICs as the studs are too short. Anyhow I've been fumbling around with it for a while now, but it seems to rattle a bit. Most I could gather was to tighten the portion of the rod (closest to front of car) that has a metric fitting on it. Anyone have theirs on super tight and rattle free want to explain?? Is there any way to make the shock greater or more stiffer also?

use some rubber "washers" and you'll get rid of the rattling. it's just a characteristic of the dampener

Put some rubber washers around the bearing portions? Ok I can see that... But is there anyway to make the unit actually stiffer? If I press the center portion of it, it wants wobble up and down.
