I was driving my car the other day and I just remembered soemthing odd happening....I had the car in 4th gear, lugged the motor down and BAM, it felt like a misfire...and it only started when I put new plugs in. Its happen three times so far, Im just curious, is it detonation? I have never experienced anything like that before,in any vehicle and was under the impression that detonation was totally different than that.

What plugs are you running ?

Try switching back to the originals and see if it happens again.

Doubt it's detonation....probably spark being blown off by boost.

 

Im running stock NGK Iridiums, 3" helix TB, AFC 2, Buschur MBC and air filter, TXS BOV.

The NGKs are the new model improved on the stock plugs, can't remember the plug code. It did it again tonight and its definitely a misfire. How bad could this be? I dont like it, but I checked everything and dotted my Is and crossed my Ts and couldn't get it to duplicate....

 

How cold is it by you ? Could be fuel cut your feeling.

Try lowering your boost. See what happens.
