Yep, I agree with Andrew, if you ever take the valva springs off while the head is on the car the retainer clips will fall down the small oil return holes quite nicely. Ask me how I know!
Well..after exploring my options, I've found a JDM Evo 7 motor to swap into the car. Its gonna cost me the least amount of $$. Sooooooo i've got a ton of parts for sale....anything from the enginebay really because the Evo7 motor comes complete with tranny, turbo, harness, ecu...everything is there and complete. I'm selling everything that i'm swapping out...including the block and the head if anyone is interested. Unsure of what these parts would sell for, so if your interested in something please pm me with a $$ offer.

they probably did an oil change and forgot the oil. They probably took it on the road and wiped out bearings. Towed it back and put oil in and said "don't know what happened?"

my car is back on the road.....i'm buying a house in the fall and decided to use my money towards that and just get a new motor. I ended up picking up an evo 7 motor. Car is now running good. Looks like a valve broke off which is what caused all the ruckus. Motor and tranny and turbo is for sale.......taking best offer...trades also considered.
