Turbo question...AMS maybe??

I lost all my darn saved links when my computer crashed and am having trouble finding a lot of the kits I had been looking at. I went to the AMS page and I swore I remember seeing a GT28 on there, and something about "ultimate autocross turbo" but its not there anymore. Was it AMS who was doing this kit (Eric??) I'm shooting for 400whp on pump with the absolute fastest spool-up that I can find. I'm more worried about mid-range punch then anything else. Anyone have any other suggestions possibly? I'd prefer a BB center, and anything that starts spooling up after 3500 is out of the question. And before anyone says it, no BR stuff, I had a bad experience with them and wont be spending my money there anymore. Thanks for everyones help in advance!

I believe AMS doesnt have the the GT28 anymore. If you have the money the AMS 3071 is probably the best option out there! With the supporting mods it will spool up just like stock and give you 400+ whp. Good luck!

If you want an autocross turbo, and can wait a little while, and talk to buschur racing about their 20G compressor wheel upgrade.. There's a whole thread dedicated to it and the kind of modifications you can do to a stock turbo to keep the stock appearing setup (especially important if you run classes where everything has to look stock) This is the route I'm taking for a daily driver and occasional track duty.. I just can't see sacrificing drivability or spending a fortune on a big turbo kit.

Malibu he said no BR stuff.
Malibu is right though that is going to the best choice for what you are looking for and the price is right.
I don't know what your bad expiernce was with them, but when I had a problem Buschur himself picked up the phone and called me to make sure it was fixed.

Yeah I can't see someone having a bad experience with BR unless its a miscommunication, but to each his own, I didn't even see the mention of the no BR stuff.. There really aren't many alternatives for smaller turbo setups.. Most vendors are caught up in the bigger badder turbo thing..
