which turbo would you buy?

which turbo kit (all available for the evo 8) should i go with to reach the highest top speed?

explain your choices w/ pros & cons...

Buschur 440 or 500. Reliable and cost effective. Header won't damage. Stock look (if
you like that).
I always liked the non-BB Turbos (had a Greddy T78 in my RX-7 and it spooled minimal slower
than the comparable BB Turbos).
Also I don't see a big problem in the oil-cooling w/o water cooling for the Turbo.
My choice would be Buschur or if money is not the point AMS GT3076
Of course it does matter what you want the turbo for.
Some more input would help us to recommend sth.

ahh - of the kits mentioned above I'd buy the HKS (or HKS Kansai) and build sth
custom to support the header

the HKS GT3240 kit is available from Kansai just like the GT3037S.

I went with the Buschur Racing BR500 BB kit. It is being installed right now and I will have a full write up soon.

monster. i also like the GT35R kit from AMS.they also have that new kit coming out thats suppose to trap over 140+,and 800whp

Have the GT35R on my Evo3, still traps at 143 mph over the quarter.. Love that turbo..

I have a BR 580 and love it but if you have a built motor I think the AMS GT35RL kit is the way to go.
