SES light

When you guys accidentaly kill the car like letting off the clutch on accident while in gear or not giving enough gas on a cold morning and it kills, does your SES light come on when you restart it and stay on? Mine did this morning when pulling out of the driveway, i accidentaly killed it by not giving enough gas for my cold start and low vacummed 272'd car. Just wondering if your SES pops up as well when you kill it..I just reset it, does anyone know what the code and description is for when this happens?? haha

just to make sure, go to autozone and borrow their obd scanner(is that the name?) for free and they will pull out the code for you.

What condition triggers the CEL when you kill the motor like that?

yeah , its just my stupidity...haha..but it just got me curious as of what condition on the motor the ECU senses that it feels it needs to trigger the SES light.
