The 20g by buschur is supposed to retain close to stock spool up.

on race gas, I'm sure... don't know about the daily grind though. It might show more peak on a dyno chart, but I'd bet you would see less tail lights with the 20g on the way to work.

You can make 350-380 with the stock turbo for less than 2K.

I agree. I think the 3071 has the potential higher peak HP. I think the 20g from Buschur will be a much better daily driver though, stock like spool because it retains the factory twin scroll set-up with overall better power through out the power band.
It prolly comes down to what you would be using it for. If your going for easy #'s on the track I'd say the 3071, but for day to day driver I would go with the 20g. Thats definitly the one Ill be putting on my car.

Are to talking to the wheel? Race gas? I have BR stage 4 and I don't think I'm even making that much.

You are compairing old technology (20g) to new technology (GT Series) in these two applications. This point will be argued alot but you are almost better off to do some research and make your own decision on your upgrade path and how much money you are willing to shell out.

actually how about we just wait and see how the 20G does in development before we jump to any conclusions.

definately, i'm sure we'll be seeing many dyno results from both turbos. BTW does anyone know how many CFM's the 20g puts out?

Why si everyone talking about this 20G like it exhists? It does not. it could be a lagy SOB with big peak power, or spool slow and make no significant power increase.

ASAIK, a real 20G is a lil laggy and can run a high 10 Second 1/4 mile. It will also NOT run outa steam on any pump gas application the way the 16G does.

The older 20g's that I looked at flowed around 600+ cfm or so good for 400-450 bhp maxed out. Realize that this depends on the car it is also. The currently 16g I think flow around 500+ cfm I believe. So a new 20g should be worth 50-75 more hp max I would think but I don't think anyone has even try to put a 20g on a evo becuase of design. But this is with the older compairsons, there is no idea how the new hybrid will flow. I don't think it will hold over 24 psi at 7k rpm becuase it is the older design.
