Is bar and plate the best design for a FMIC? What do you think of XS engineering FMIC?

I like the Injen FMIC kit. It fits just like stock.

turboxs it's pretty big. It measures 3.5" thick 11.75" tall and 24" wide.

I still need to tweek it. It's alittle off center.

Durability better be one criteria. One poked hole from road debris or bottoming out and "game over."

Yes bar and plate is the best design. So far Injen is on the top of the list since it fits like a glove and no cutting for under tray is required (which is very important). BR standard IC is great too but all the pics that I have seen so far the IC sits more to the right. I have a friend who owns a shop in Norcal who makes many parts and piping for EVOS that is tackling this job right now (might be something very good in the end). AMS has a good IC but it requires cutting and I don’t like that. TurboXS end tanks sit to low, hope that helps.

Ours requires minor trimming of the undertray. Just clearing that up, someone could take the way you said it like there is major hacking required. If anyone has seen ours in person they would be so impressed by the build quality they would probibly overlook the fact that you have to barely trim the undertray.

hey... that setup looks really nice... how low is it sitting? i'm really really interested... like no joke please please please share how low it's sitting cuz i'm a firm believer that the turboxs/hyperflow core and endtank design is unsurpassed by any other company for any price period! if you can tell me that you're getting 3" more radiator flow that would make my day.
