Tomei 260 with 11.5 are going to be the best bet for low to mid range and still give you the same top end as HKS 272/272 combo. I have done the tests and seen the results.

Ya they idle very close to stock.

Chris

Oh ya i have a set by the way for sale... HAHA.... 2300 miles. But seriously i did back to back dyno runs and gained 15-25whp in the low to mid range and kept the same top end. Im selling now becouse with the new engine they dont flow enough and im forced to go with 280's.

With the 11.5 lift. You are going to need springs and retainers which will add to your cost.
Bang for the your buck go HKS 264 272
It's little lopey but not to bad.

The lopey idle on cams can be dialed out with adjustable cam gears, but don't go overboard and dial out the advantage of having larger cams. Some lope is good, and there are lots of threads on various cam adj. settings to attain a decent idle.

Without question, among the HKS offerings, the 264 set gives the best idle and the best torque.

I say that if you want stock idle then just go with some 264s. Good power for down-low and mid-range.
