All Evo specialists here in Finland say that connecting rods are the weakest part of the engine. This seems a bit weird to me since Vishnu for example makes serious mods without changing them. Have any of you had problems with this issue?

6500 euros would buy me new laptop programmable ECU, connecting rods, dump valve, carbon fiber clutch and 3" exhaust all the way after turbo. Price includes installation and all required dyno tests etc. Result should be somewhere near 350 whp and 500+ nm of torque. How does this sound to you, good or bad idea? Is it expensive in U.S. standards?
