Question: why use a clutch type front LSD on the street
Vishnu used a Cusco front LSD in one of their project cars and said it enhanced handling on the track. My question is how this can be possible? I understand that a clutch LSD limits speed differences between the left and right wheels on acceleration, and unlike a helical diff will work when one wheel is in the air. This makes sense from a rally or drag race standpoint, but how does this help on tarmac? Wouldn't a helical front lsd be better on a road course?
