I have one mine is a daily driver 50 miles round trip. The car is pretty loud but I love it. Its really only loud when you get on it if you are cruising its not to bad.

As for sound level, it doesn't make much of a difference at all. The reason I took mine off and went for a hi-flow cat is that I'm paranoid of a cop smelling the exhaust and pulling me over. The test pipe goes on only for track events and dyno days

I run a cat delete pipe in my evo and its daily driven. I love the sound. Its definatly not too loud in my opinion. Plus the power is nice too.

I have the same set up and to be honest you can hardly tell the difference between the race pipe and a high flow cat accept at wot. It is not loud at all during normal driving.

I use one. Don't waste your money on the Helix test pipe. Don't get me wrong Helix is great, but UR has a much cheaper one and it works great. I'm sure others would agree.

ive got the perrin test pipe on...
the sound is orgasmic at WOT...
it's seriously not an issue when cruising...
it's like any other car!

only think i don't like is the stupid pop/flame during harsh driving conditions and shifting... it seems to pop and shoot a fireball pretty consistently... haha... my ghetto anti-lag i guess

That's because your running super rich, with a tune of any sort it will help it a great deal. You will still get black smoke, but it won't be as bad.
