You may see 20psi by 7000RPM.

Hahaha, that turbo would lag increadibly bad. You'd probably have to spray a big shot of NOS to get that thing spinning. I dont think the 2.0L has the displacement to spin that turbine without making it into a race only motor, and even then I just dont see it being very efficient.

You can fit anything if you've got the plumbing work. Of course it would be grossly inefficient, stupid, and you'd have a really really hard time fitting a radiator in there,.

That being said, why would you want a T88 on a 4G63? Are you trying to compensate for something?

You would need a custom 1 off tubular exhaust manifold to relocate teh turbo off to teh side, maybe where the battery is. You would then need a Nitrous shot to spool it anywhere but when it DID, ohh boy.

you could possibly give your entire life savigns to JUN so they can stroke and blueprint that motor for you, and then take out a loan for the T88 and then sell your soul for the labor to put it all together. oh, and nitrous would be nice, too... on a stroked motor, you should be able to 10's with the T88, spray, and whatever by your 3rd or 4th run before you have to build it all back up again.

Why would he need to call up Jun for a stroker kit on a EVOIII?

4G64's with 4G63 heads bolt in just fine and have more displacement. 2.4L vs 2.2 or whatever Jun does.

you should be able to 10's with the T88,
Try 8's. A T-88 is amazingly Huge and will just flow whatever you ask it to. I would DEFENATELY Build the Evo Bottom end but keep it a 2.0 and keep rev it up to 10,500RPM's. You will make MASSIVE WHP, probably over a 1000 on boost alone. I would speay a 200 SHot for good measure...

i would recommend leaving it a 2.0l (rev higher safer), build the engine, and use a lot of nitrous. i know a guy where i live and he has a t88 on his 1g talon with i believe he has a 100 shot on it now. but almost everything you can possibly do to it has been done as far as off the shelf parts and not getting too crazy with custom stuff like another friend of mine which i'm sure you guys have heard of, user name 3240.

I dont see how it could possibly work without alot of nos , or a supercharger to help spool it up. Either way will be ridiculously expensive, and a total waste since you'll just spin all four wheels like a madman....though that would be fun for a little while.

I am amazed as I have seen these T88 turbos on Mazda 1.3L Rx7's and Nissan Sr-20det 2.0L 240sx's with good success. I don't see why it would not work on a evo8 as we have similar small displacement motors. But you guys are right about the lagg. I wonder what the mazda 1.3l guys use to spool these bad buys up. soo fast!!!

There is an Evo I built for drags out here with a T88 that made just under 700 hp on the dyno. I don't know if he uses nos for spool up though. It hasn't run a time yet with this setup as the clutch couldn't hold the power. It previously ran low 10s with a smaller turbo.

Those 1.3 RX-7s are rotaries... I'm sure there's some 20b RX-7s with a T-88 too.

I always wondered do Rotaries spool turbos up faster? I know they can rev incredably high.

Plus a lot of rx 7s have either a 2 rotor or a 3 rotor motor. I know the 3 rotor motor can coost upwards of 20k. It was on the japville rx7 which is sick. I think that one had a t88 turbo on it or maybe even bigger. Could reach 220 mph and could reach 0 60 in mid 3s.

The supra guys are fond of t88 of course they have more displacment and their engine is just amazing.
