So what was the verdict? Was it the master/slave cylinder ? A problem with the line or clutch?

I have the same problem but my act disc is so shot it slips in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th under any type of load. I think i wore past the disc material and i'm just on the rivets or sumthin. I have a new clutch coming in so i'm just barely driving the car until it comes in but its still kkinda crazy. if i'm in gear and i floor the clutch, it wont really come out of gear. ALmost feels like the disc is stuck to the flywheel or PP or sumthin like that. HD twin carbon going in soon though so we'll see how that is

Once it starts slipping, its all down hill from there.

In the above story, what was the problem. I have something similar and I am wondering what everyone else thought.

Get home and say "I am starving let me run out to get something to eat." I start up the evo, push clutch in, gearshift to reverse. Back out of my driveway then push clutch in to go to first and there was a pop and the clutch pedal stuck to the floor. car stalled. My neighbor was outside, he helped me push my car back into the driveway. I pull the clutch pedal off of the floorboard and tried to push it back in, no dice. I can maybe push it in about halfway. Any suggestions??

Now I regularly check to see if it is slipping and there was no slipping as of this past weekend. Going about 25 mph, I floored the gas in 5th to make sure it pulls all the way up. It did, easily. There is an exedy twin plate clutch in it, it was in it when I bought it at 32000 miles. Car currently has 70000 miles and was running fine.

Any help would be appreciated. BTW, any thoughts on how much it would cost?

u prob have a leak i would bleed first then try to see if it helps. after you bleed put cardboard under and then pump to find a probable location for the leak

I had the same problem and it was my lower clutch line. You can buy heavy duty ones from AMS for cheap though, which worked out and fixed my problem.

there is no leak anywhere. The fluid resevior is full, the level is all the way up to the max line. anything else? could the slave cylinder be faulty and not leak?

this has happened to alot of members lately. It happened to me. Fluids are all full and no leaks.... The clutch slave cylinders go bad, assuming you don't have air in the lines. I'm also noticing this happens to alot of people using Exedy Twin HD's. I wonder if that has something to do with it? Its a PITA to replace because its located behind the drivers side shock mount. I pulled the whole assembly out from the firewall to replace mine
