Ultimate Racing High Flow Cat

For those of you who are running the UR HFC, does the unit rattle?

I picked up a used one and when I received it, I could tell that there are some rattling between the core and the shell. After the installation, I can really hear it when the car is idling. Thanks...

one of my buddy's has this cat and his works fine...you may want to put the car on a lift and look at the heat shield to make sure it isnt bent or loose, that could be your problem. If it's inside the actual unit, call UR and get a new one. They have great customer service, i have their cat delete pipe.

I don't have a problem with the cat itself rattling, but I did have a problem with it hitting the heat sheild under the car when I first installed it. That made an awful rattling sound.

Thanks fellas,

I double checked the clearance and nothing is hitting or rubbing between the heat shield and the cat. Like I said, I bought it used, so I don't think UR is going to warranty it.
