Wastegate Actuator Question

Has anyone tested their wastegate actuator? I read on another post that you can run an air source to the actuator and test for leaks. I did this test and it does not seem to leak. I noticed that it takes about 10 psi to get the actuator to move all the way. Would this considered to be too much?

BTW, I saw in a Japanese magazine that there is a difference between GSR and MR wastegate actuator. I guess that with the MR actuator the boost pressure increases at 3500rpm. Some technical explanation?
Others differences: Catalitic converter, solenoid valve, Diverter Valve, Suspension, oil cooler, brakes, Vortex generator, pistons, turbine angle, transmission.
