going to install cams without tune

Im planning on installing my 272 cams in the meantime before I get it custom tuned. I know I wont get the most power out of it but I should be able to feel the difference at least corect? Will the car stall because I dont mind the crappy idle for now. I Just want to put the cams in bad

Did my install 2 weeks before my tune. The idle was lopy but never stalled, and yes you will feel the difference.

I would say go ahead, even if you do stall every now and then its not the end of the world. I don't think i'd be able to hold out either, when I get them I want them in

I had my 272/272 installed by TT past week and it sounded really lumpy prior to flash.

After flash, much less lumpy and it get lumpier as engin heats up. But even now, at stop the tach drops to 500 rpm almost clunking out but still holds.

yea you'll be fine running without a tune for a while. I was running all the mods you see below without a tune before my flash and it ran O.K., but not close to it's optimum potential. The most annoying part was constantly cleaning my bumper from the soot buildup. Now my car is a monster and couldnt be happier. btw, i ran my car with the cams untuned for about a month and a half, no stalling, now my idle is a tiny bit smoother but as mentioned above it will get lumpy as the engine warms up.
