if you have an 03, the only recalls you should have are the weight label sticker (which was for all the 03s and the fan control relay (only for 03's manufactured from July 03 and earlier according to my dealer). there was also an air bag warning sticker you should have gotten in the mail. it goes under the hood.

 

Was the fan control relay due to the fan not coming on when the car is off? I have never heard my fan come on when the car is off. Even if the fan is running when I shut the car off, the fan stops.

 

the only way to know if you car has any recalls is to give the dealer your vin. just because there was a recall on a certain set of cars, doesnt mean that all have it. you evo may have not fallen under the requirments for the o2 harness. or it could have already been fixed

 

I gotta bunch of mods wil lthat interfer with the Recalls?

 

my car does this too, i dint think it's supposed to stay on after you shut the car down, does anybodys stay on? is this what the fan controll recall is about?

 

got everything done cept for the 02 thing, I never heard of that one.

 

It's all based on your VIN# and manufacturing date. Not ALL 03's have all the recalls...I called on mine and all it showed on my 03 is:

C0401H - EVOFMSS Certification Label

That was all on mine, plus I have never had those other problems.

 

now i am i know about the the misfire code and ive always wonderd about when a car comes beside with exhaust and the evo idels funny like shes scared lol. I have a afc and if they re-prog. the ecu will that interfere with my afc? Will i need a retune?

Just called 1-888-648-7820 Option 1, then Option 5, with the last 8 digits of the VIN.

For May 2003 manufactured vehicle only 2 recalls exist:
1. C0409Z: Fan Controller
2. C0401H: FMVSS Certification
