Customer Update: Possible Pump Gas Record?

I talked about this local customer in the drag racing section a while ago. He ran 11.9@117 a long time ago on pump gas and made just shy of 400awhp all with the stock unmolested turbo. In the last few months he has changed his setup quite a bit. Added the following:

Custom Turbo Setup using SC61S @28psi
Wiseco Pistons
Eagle Rods
RPS Carbon/Carbon Clutch
HKS 280/280 Cams
Still on stock head and stock intake manifold

The car made 536AWHP on 31psi recently so we where anxious to get to the track since we don't care much for dyno numbers. The first few times where a little rough running mid 11s @125-127 at 26psi. After a few trips it ran 11.0@130
This was accomplished on 93 octane and only 28psi. 10s are just around the corner basically only a 60ft away.

It is already running methanol. Has been for all it's life. I posted that in the info link. The turbo is a SC61S Turbo which uses the same compressor wheel as a GT35R but is non ball bearing and uses a smaller turbine wheel not to mention half the cost.

hmm, me and a few of my friends got drunk this one night, and my buddy driving his EVOIII the DD of the night, decided he wants to show us downtown waaay downtown not realizing were almost out of gas, well we had 151 in the back seat and decided to give it a go, since its quite some disntance from home. Well he said that, that was the best his car has ever performed, hehe, so now everytime he gases his ride he pours a bottle of 151 in it he says its the best thing ever better than octane boost (crazy ****)... now hes running low 11s high 10's, so he claims, dont get me wrong its really fast and hes crazy... Thought id share a story about me Japanese friend. oh yeah... "Drugs are bad mmkaayy"

now we're moving on to the pump gas record? man...

what next? most power on stock injectors? stock intake? stock fuel pump?

I think it's no holds bar. if you're fast, you're just fast like that guy.

There are no rules, you run what you bring.

kick *** numbers. makes CT's car look like childs play.

VP Methanol. It is pretty cheap and it takes a while to go through the 5 gallon cans they come in.

The dyno sheet is not pretty. It is rolling into the gas slow so spool looks worst than it really is and the MPH to stop recording was set to high which is why it looks all weird at the end.
