MR fuel pump a good upgrade?

I was just wondering if the MR fuel pump would be a suitable upgrade for the 2003 Evo? I am not sure if it is the same considering the MR runs 20.5 psi. Or maybe the 2006 Evo 9's? I figure at least it is a Mitsubishi part as I have heard about the Walbros failing in rare cases.

well considering how many people use a walbro pump (there are tons) the very few cases shouldn't be a deterrent. I highly doubt if you bought one that it would fail, but just cause i said that it probably will, but really you should be fine with one. just ask the millions of people who do use them, im sure they are quite pleased (besides the loud sound that it gives off)

The MR pump is the same as what is in the other EVO VIII models.

The Walbro is a wonderful inexpensive upgrade to the stock one. My only complaint is the added noise. If I wasn't worried about the cost I would have gone with a denso pump upgrade....
