Ok, so I know my car will never REALLY be complete because there is always something else to add on...but this is the longest I've gone without it. Last Friday it went up on the ramps and today is Tuesday...still up there! So far it's got a new tubular header, 10.5 hotside, 3" o2 housing, and rear sway bar. On Monday it goes in to get a new ACT clutch, BG Synchroshift, re-surfaced flywheel, and stainless steel clutch line. I know you guys know what I'm talking about when you have that feeling that you just want it all to be DONE and don't want to wait anymore!!!!!!!!

Kinda, I can borrow the S-10 (brother) or the Z24 (roommate) but it's just not the same!

 

I feel your pain. Mine's been out of commission since the beginning of <edit>December</edit>.

 

mines been down for 3 weeks now, should be home come Monday...

 

What are you guys doing that requires your car to be out of commission for 4 months?

 

I used to have this problem with my older cars that were paid off but I would go crazy if my evo was just sitting on jackstands while I have to make payments on it.

mines on a year round schedule, down for a couple months, running for a few months....amazingly its almost bone stock. However lately whenever something happens to it, it seems like i can get it up and running quicker now....I think the Evo is training me

 

It'll be worth it in the end...the waiting around sucks though.
