any feed back on piper cams ??
I'm considering on purchasing some piper cams over the HKS 264/272 combo
the specs on the piper cams are the following
265/265 11.5mm /10.8mm (ralli cams)
They would be use on the stock turbo with the following upgrades
FMIC + upper and lower ICP w/1g BOV
720cc
SAFC II
fuel pump
cam gears
TBE w/ hi-flow cat
MBC
any feed back its appreciated!!

Having been down the Piper Rally cams path (and the lifts are 11.5/11.5 on both) I would probably recomend just going the HKS route. For Piper Rally cams upgrading the valve springs is also recomended.
The Pipers seem to deliver good power, but finding tuners who know them is tough. The lobe centers are also different from the HKS cams so you will need to figure out different cam timing values also, unless you just run them at 0/0. Also the idle is pretty lopey - similiar to a set of HKS 280s but not quite as rough. I've tested both HKS 280s and Piper Rally cams - both on the track (road course) and on the dyno.
What I've found in testing on the dyno: They seem to make really good power with the stock head and turbo, but there isn't alot of tuner support for getting them dialed in. A set of HKS cams will have alot more information (and experience) available, and will probably make very close to the same power.

thanks for the info, i was wondering since i already have the HKS 264/272 set up. Was it worth it going a differen route. I have also consider the Jun cams 272/272 10.8mm/10.8mm but I think i'm better off just purchasing the HKS intake 272 cam.
Since i was also considering this set up with the TME turbo (excellent for road racing)
