Anyone running VTA bov without standalone? EIDS user input welcome!

I only have a reflash and Im getting a new Upper IC pipe very soon, most likely from Buschur. I LOVE the Tial BOV but its only VTA. I am wondering if I get the HKS EIDS, how the car will run. I know how the system works I had a DSM, Im quite familiar, just wondering if the EIDS really does the trick to make the car run good with VTA!!! Thanks!

From what I hear, the EIDS cures all idle problems caused by VTA BOV's.

What about in between shifts? Will the car run excessivly rich or will the EIDs fix the problem?

Well, i would imagine it would because if the EIDS smoothed out that sudden drop in air flow between shifts, the computer would not have to compensate by running rich, and you will not feel like your car just stumbled every time.

My brother has one and it really works amazingly. Ive never seen what his spark plugs look like though....

it helps with the quick shift to neutral so your car doesnt stall.
if you have cams 272 or 280 it doesnt cure the idle it completely the idle will still move up and down and only stall in colder climates..
i have mine for sale. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...72#post1984572

ditto, it actually helped me pass emissions. Idle afr went a tad leaner so that helped out a bunch.
