can we weld on lower intercooler pipes or do we have to have hoses? I'm typing about both ends.

if you had no hose there would be no flex. The engine moves with acceland decel. You would probably break pipes and or welds

/\ agree with them thats y most of the IC pipes now come with 2 couplers that have the flex section in them so u can put one on the cold and hot side so it has some movement

what doest give will break.. besides there is no performance gain to doin that.. just headaches.. if your worried about leaks put 2 clamps on each hose end, staggering the worm gear..

there needs to be a flex..
if ur worried about hoses popping off...just get the ends of the pipe rolled(get a lip on it) and then clamp it down.
it should never come off then.
