Hey Y'all,
What fwd gearbox will bolt on properly to an evo 4 engine?
This is urgent.

On the FWD trannies, the starter is up high on the front of the motor. Right smack in the way of where the turbo on an EVO sits. On the EVO, the starter sits down low on the front of the motor in order to clear the turbo. That is why guys putting EVO motors into Mirages and Lancers are building custom exhaust manifolds in order to use the FWD tranny.

Thanks for the info, but what i'm after is which fwd gearbox, (as in model number or something that i can make reference to)that will fit the evo 4.
