im having the same problem. its in third gear between 4-5K. i installed a 255FP and helped the problem, but still there alittle. i think im hitting the fuel cut-off when my boost spikes.<21 or 22 psi> need tuning 2 improve problem and eventually get rid of it.

is it possible for the plug's gap to mess up when its never been touched?

Most of the mods in my car have been running for months, except my down pipe and test pipe. This only started happening a few days after i installed my down pipe and test pipe.

Plugs and wires are stock...

My car just recently hit 30k miles around the same time this started happening. Do you think it has anything to do with that?

If it falls on it's face hard. It is fuel cut. Without a piggyback or a flash, there is no way to fix this other than taking your mods off. I would start with re-placing the intake with the stock airbox. A mail in flash would do wonders for you, but if you can't wait. put the stock box back on and see what happens.

Hate that fuel cut! It happens to me when my engine is not warmed up and outside air is cold. It is fine on hot days or after my engine is warmed up. are you getting this even after engine gets hot?

Check the plugs for sure, BUT WHATEVER YOU DO....DO NOT REGAP THEM. I JUST HAD TWO OF MINE BREAK (THE ELECTRODES).

THE SYMTOms sound identical to when I broke my electrodes

I changed my plugs the other day and heres what happened...

after changing the plugs to NGK BPR7ES's, the CEL went away and i took the car out for a spin, and wow it was running fine, no more sputtering...

so i go for a quick shower, come came back turned my car on, and the CEL is back on. I take it out for another run and its fine. About 10 min into my drive, im at a stop, i go to 1st, and 2nd gear up to 6kRPMs no problem, but when I hit 3rd gear it started sputtering at 4.5kRPMs again...

After that its been sputtering every gear AGAIN...DAMMIT!!

so wtf?
