When do I need new injectors/pump?

Question When do I need new injectors/pump?

I have a full exhaust, intake, mbc, water injection, flashed, and I'm now about to put in cams (264/272).

The Water injection has not been flashed for yet, and nor will the cams be flahsed for.

After popping in the cams, I wanna make sure that I'm not gonna max out the injectors or the fuel pump. I know everyone says to get a pump b/c it's only $100, but
1. I've heard too many tales of something going wrong w/ the walbros
2. I really just don't wanna do it if it isn't neccessary (I dont even know where the
darn thing is on this car)

I also don't know what the flash for the cams will entail... will it add/subtract fuel??
I'm almost positive that I want to have the flash take me up to 11.5-1 AFR b/c of the WI. I also should advance the timing some, but I won't do that for 2 reasons, I plan to crank the boost to 24, and also I'd like to keep a buffer of safety.

I just want to know that after leaning to 11.5 AFR w/ cams I will/won't need injectors/pump.

I've seen somewhere that you need new injectors @ xxxhp but I cant find that info anymore, also is there any way to monitor the duty of my injectors w/o a piggyback? I have a friend w/ a logger.. but as I recall last time we tried it, it didn't figure that out for you, so can you do it by voltage of one of the injectors or something?

Get a fuel pressure gague and cam gears. Play with the timing and you can run the 26/27 combo w/o a fuel pump (22 psi).

You should definitely get the fuel pump, however your injectors should still be good, but you will need them shortly also.

I thought the same about all the issues I had heard about the Walbro, but Ive never had an issue with mine.

Like I said, and many will agree with me, you need a pump now.

It doesn't take much at all to overheat the stock pump, creating a lean condition.

Get the Walbro, install it correctly, and you will have nothing to worry about.

+1, I order my fuel pump just to make sure there's enough fuel. $80 now is better than a $5,000 rebuild later.

okay, okay... I get the point... I really was looking for some hard evience though, rather than "it doesn't take much"... I'm pretty sure my car has seen "much" and I haven't had problems yet...
If anyone has solid info on the pump, then cool, otherwise I know it's a relitively cheap safety device.

I however still need some good info on the injectors, as I'm totally lost here, can anyone answer my afore asked questions?

Once you raised the boost from stock, you already are pushing the injectors to the edge. Anyone who says else is trying to sell you something.

Dude, GET the fuel pump. Maybe 100 bucks shipped to your house with the filter kit and its the easiest install you'll EVER do, trust me. I reccomend injectors but I think you could hold off on that for a little while, but if you have the money get them both at the same time (now) it'll only be like 550 or 600 shipped if you do some smart shopping.

like I've said... I feel you on the pump, I know everyone says to get one for safety's sake. If anyone has anything to say about the pump, I'd really like some sort of solid reason, like you need it @ xxxhp or xxboost or whatever.

I would also like to hear this answer. I have heard so many different things, some say both, some say the pump and some say its really not needed until you change turbos.
