Couple pics of my new upper pipe

Made this the other day out of 2.75" aluminum mandrel bends I had at the shop. The size is OVERKILL for this turbo(stock), but maybe before long it will not be. Anyway here are a few pics. As far as performance goes, I'm not really sure. Maybe marginal at best. Odd thing is boost seems to hang on longer. I'm only dropping a half psi out past 7k where before I would lose 1.5-2psi

Very nice job. Wish I had the skills to fab something like that. How long did it take you?

No. That's it under the red thing. I figured with the trend to put tiny lawnmower batts up there I would show everyone and put a D cell under the stock positive battery terminal cover. Car won't start, but no more heavy-*** battery slowing me down .
Thank you for your coments. It only took a few of hours to make. Could have been quicker, but I figure it's for me so I'll take all the time I need. That in no way means I rush through things when customers are involved, but when someone else is paying there is pressure to do it faster.

pretty nice, I am sure you could sell this piece and many people wouldnt think twice about buying it from the looks of the fab work....but it seems like you already have your hands full.

It's funny you should say that. My wife is going to have our son any day now. So yes my hands will be quite full for a time. I may build a few of these and see if anyone bites. Will probably do 2.5", allthough there doesn't seem to any lag with the 2.75" over the stock piping.
