I replaced the tranny and front tc on my car..the transfer case failed for some unknown reason in a few hundred miles..we put the known good stock transfer case back in and the car is still making a clunking noise esp when turning left or right but sometimes also when going straight its quite random..whats odd is it made this same noise with the first transfer case that failed so now i am wondering if its the trans..could it be a bad center diff in the trans causing the front tc to bind up and make the noises..its not the cv axles or any bolts in the front end everything was checked thoroughly..everything is filled with proper fluids/levels as well..
