mounting the SMC alky controller

Besides the coin tray is there any other places to mount it? If you have any pics of it at a different location lets see them.

I mounted mine into the radio relocation panel, right below the radio. It blends in pretty well and is still highly visible. I'll take a pic after work.

I think that is a good spot since I also have the relocation kit. Did you use double sided tape? I was thinking of drilling 2 holes on each side and use zip ties.

You should be able to, I have the radio relocated to that location.

Nope, it's actually cut into the relocation panel. It slides in under the radio and is held in with pressure from the radio itself. I had to trim some of the hidden dash plastic for it to clear. All that is seen from the interior is the face with the leds and test button.

I wouldn't see why this couldn't be done with the stock cubby hole or the factory gauges. Though might need to figure out a rear support. Could be something as simple as a bent piece of aluminum and tape.

I have the relocation kit so the only way mine will fit is right under it and above the ash tray.
