tranny question noise

Well i was just riding around and noticed that when i shift into gear early and wait for a second then step on the gas the drive shaft (i think) makes a noise like a thud... normally heard on old cars though just wondering if thats normal cus i have less than 18k miles

Well if ever try it out and see if it does it as well... going around 30 shift into next gear then when wait a second or two ten step on the gas... mine when makes a loud thud.. oh well help

you are not giving us nearly enough info to help you.. crawl under the car and start looking for loose parts or, a bad carrier bearing...

man... i can't check under my car right now cus i dont have anything to pull up my car and its too low to even look under and see anything that deep

that is most likely your viscous center diff locking up due to a sudden acceleration ... it is known to happen on WRXs as well ...
