When the clutch starts to go...

does the car seem to feel sluggish. I've noticed over the past couple of weeks that the car just doesnt seem to pick up and go like it used to. For instance, if I am on the highway in 4th gear(so I am in the boost), doing about 70 and go WOT to pass someone the car seems to hesitate, then go. Kinda like the engine wants to, but the power is not being put down like it should. The car has 12k on clock and has been launched a grand total of once I am kinda stumped on this one because I rev match almost all down shifts, and try to be as smooth as possible. My last truck had 120k on the original clutch, so I think that I am not the problem. (could very well be though)
I also checked for boost leaks and tightened all the hoses, but I am still having the same issue. I am thinking about changing the plugs to see if that helps. The car did sit on the lot for a year and a half before I bought it.

i honestly dont think thats what your problem is.... when the clutch goes... you will get a raise in the RPM when rolling into the throttle then it heats up the clutch material and grips.....

Its not doing that for sure. The car just feels flat, like its down on power somehow.

could be early signs of clutch going. especially if its showing up under 4th gear under more load. full slippage with noticeable raise in RPM may start showing very soon

I dont know, I mean I live in Louisiana. Its damn hot and humid year round. And my problem has only poped up over the last month or so. The hesitation happens with the A/C on or off, so the A/C power sap isnt the problem. I am changing the plugs today, maybe that will help some, who knows. But for some strange reason I still think its the clutch about to take a dump on me.

A/C makes the car run like ****...it seems like revs drop faster making it harder for smooth acceleration and shifts
