I'm looking to get a slim fan to gain additional room in the engine bay. Before I go shopping for fans, does anyone know how much air the stock fan flows? Any suggestions?

I duno the exact CFM's, but RRE told me the OEM fans push more air than the slim SPAL fans. THey only suggested i get SPAL fans if i need to free up space in the engine bay.

Don't know either, but I had to relocate the control module to make room. Unfortunetly, no one makes a half size core, with proper thickness to keep proper (or better) cooling specs.

One thing you could do if you aren't keeping your AC is put 2 pusher fans on. Keep em on a switch and I'd imagine you'd be OK.

 

Those slim fans will never flow as good as the stockers, especially w/o a shroud. The stock fans are two speed I believe. You can try building a shroud for your slim fan.
