what kind of damage do I look for at 26 psi?

I got my stock manifold and my RNR O2 housing coated and installed. My brother and friend took the car out without my permission so now my boost controller reads 26.3 psi as peak pressure and keep in mind I have the stock intercooler in Texas heat. What kind of damage am I looking at. Everything is stock except exhaust, intake, and base dynoflash. This was on 93 octane btw.

None. Make sure you have Headstuds and Good gas. On a stock turbo I dont think it will hold it anyway. Its going to fall off to 21psi anyway.

Btw, stock turbo has been known to spike as high as 31 psi....but yeah it should fall of pretty quick. The question is how long was the car @ 26 psi? and realistically their is no real way to determine if any damage was caused. I wouldn't worry about it but, take this chance to chew your bro out

doubt anything bad happend. It would have been actually best if you didn't have headstuds. I'd rather lift the head then blow a piston out. The stock ecu would have pulled massive timing.

I wouldn't worry about it unless it knocked really bad. 4G63 block can take some major boost...just make sure you are always running good gas.

Thanks,
Tom
