Problem starting car after header install
Ever since I installed Megan Racing Headers my car has had problems starting while hot. If I were to drive somewhere and try to start the car while its hot it will give me problems. Sometimes it will just go *click* like if the battery was dead other times it will just crank for a few seconds as if the car wasn't getting any gas. The car has always started up the tho... I just turn the ignition off and try again and it starts. I have not been stranded yet. Has anyone had any problems like this? I am thinking the heat from the headers might affect something but I am kind of stumped.

Like the other guy said, check your starter and your battery connections.
Good luck

the header has no direct effect on the car starting . i would start else where. starter, batter , 02 sensor, some other part that was hit or taken off during the install.
simple fix. replace your stock header and try again.

Well my car did it again tonight. All it would do is just go *click* loudly followed by some really faint clicks till i turned the ignition off. Luckily I was with my girlfriend so I told her the crank the motor to see if i could spot something. I noticed that when the car was started something was glowing red from under the turbo. I could not tell exactly from well but i could see the redish glow. Could it be that the starter cables have melted togther and are shorting out? Here is a picture of the area where I saw the redish glow. The area is circled in blue.
