I have an Exedy Hyper Single and from the day I got it it makes a rumbling sound and vibrates around 3k rpm @ 80mph in 5th gear. Sometimes in all the gears but not very frequently. People have told me it is disengaging. I put a clutch extender rod from Lancershop and it did not help. A friend adjusted the clutch, and it did not cure it.

So my question is what exactly disengages in a clutch? Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did u fix it?
