Should I be worried?

So the other day at least two times when letting off from hard acceleration in 5th I shot about a 1ft flame out the exhaust. Anybody else ever had this happen?

no, it's just unburned fuel passing through the exhaust system and igniting at the tailpipe

Thanks guys, I knew it was just the unburned fuel igniting, but I wanted to make sure it happens to other people.

Oh, and yes I am excited I shoot fire. It's a great line to tell chicks

my car did that also before the cams/alky now it shoots real deal flames, and even better because if i take 3rd or 4th to redline and let the car just stay in gear as it slows down and hold the TEST button on my control unit, it just shoots flames of methanol like 2-3ft for 3-4 seconds straight, its awesome at night

agreed.

GotEVo on this board used to shoot fireballs bigger than his car at autocrosses until he retuned.
