Unhappy my turbo sounds like a desiel truck... lil help

I installed a buschur intercooler along with a forge rs bov and a hallman pro boost controller.

Everything went on ok but now ( with stock air box) my turbo sounds like a desil truck??

It boosts fine holds boost.... no leaks but yet my stock turbo sounds 10x as loud as it should.

Any help or input is much appreciated!!!!

thank you!

Sounds like you have a leak. Did you have trouble getting the lower IC pipe bolted onto the turbo? The flange is easy to warp if the pipe was hitting the actuator.

Do a boost leak test! When I had a minor tear on the silicone hump my car was holding 20 psi but the power was not there and the car was more laggy on and off boost. It's your car. You drive it everyday. You should know when something is not normal. Good luck.

When I installed my Buschur FMIC and all the piping, we tightended those clamps quite hard yet to be safe, we did a boost test following since the intake was off already and I had 1 massive leak. Even though the clamps were tightened all the way, the coupler (this case was on the IC outlet side attaching to UICP) just wouldnt hold, so I used 2 clamps on one side and it fixed it! MUST DO BOOST TEST!
