High revs after Clutch Install

We just recently got a Clutchmasters Stage 3 in the evo. Well after the break in period of 500 miles, of course i was flooring it making sure the clutch holds and what not. Well if i take the car up to 7k rpms in 1st and shift to 2nd, 2nd is almost impossible to get into to. And the worse part is...sometimes when were going trough the gears, shifting @ like 5k-6k and fixing to come up to a stoplight or stopsign, and put it in neutral the REVS will stay up @ like 4.5,k=5krpms! Im not car expect but i don't think the revs should be that high in Neutral. Anyone know what the problem is? Thanks in Advance.

Vac. leak can also cause high idle but I doubt it'll drive it up to 4k though. Just another thought

the crappy shifting at high rpm is a commom problem with many aftermarket single disk clutches.
